Painted Kiwi: Site Design & Development

The Challenge
Painted Kiwi is a start-up online store, built initially around the "Life is Good" brand of products. The store owner wanted a bright, colorful and playful site that was designed to rank well in search engines and stand out from the crowd.

The Project
My Store Solutions worked with Painted Kiwi to design and develop www.paintedkiwi.com. We helped to define the look and shopping experience they envisioned and to develop the custom RTML Templates required to bring that vision to life on the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions platform.

The Solution
My Store Solutions designed a site that is colorful, playful and very easy to navigate. We included a host of SEO enhancements to make the site much more SEO-friendly than a standard Yahoo! Store, including

• Dynamic Meta and Title tags that automatically target the appropriate keywords
• Text navigation
• H1 tags on every page
• Related item links on product pages
• Keyword-rich Alt tags throughout the site

We also added marketing and page layout enhancements like Multiple Image Views and Product Page Cross Sells.

The result is a beautiful site that will perform extremely well in the search engines.
